A few years ago, a friend introduced me to a cutting-edge software company named RTT. I was fascinated by the technology possible, and wondered why more industries weren't utilizing it besides every car company on the market.
Then, a month ago, I learned that RTT is no longer "RTT" but '3DEXCITE' and now owned by the French-based Dassault Systemès ("The 3D Experience Company"). During this time, I had just finished writing (for a gruelling three-months, everyday, 12 hours) my undergrad thesis on the topic of experiential marketing. Fittingly, what 3DEXCITE does is precisely furthering experience for consumers through use of technology. The most exciting news was that they were about to host a weekend of showcasing their latest developments in Munich. I jumped at the opportunity and ended up spending a great weekend learning about all the possibilities brands can envision for customers to experience and engage in. Besides the exciting technology and keynote presentations, I also met some great people! The photos don't do the weekend justice, and really, because everything is meant to be "experienced" - photos aren't at all the correct medium to see it in. But I do hope that it intrigues your interest enough to attend the event next year or get to know all the wonders possible with 3DEXCITE technology.
